Frank151 is a collectible quarterly, featuring special guest curators and unique editorial themes. Each "chapter" presents exclusive and unvarnished content with a mindset that speaks to a global audience of culturally acute creators, agitators and connoisseurs.
As a tribute to DKNY, the fashion brand with strong roots in New York City celebrating its 25th anniversary, the cult publication released a limited-edition chapter, DKNY x FRANK. Founder/publisher Stephen Malbon took inspiration from DKNY's #WeAreNYC campaign models along with Donna Karan herself, plus a few legendary New Yorkers and personalities.
The limited-edition publication includes exclusive content from influencers, such as an editorial styled by A$AP Illz, Ricky Powell's star-studded archives, a Guide to NYFW illustrated by Kevin Lyons, and more. Each contributor delivers content that speaks to the passion points of music, design, fashion, and cutting-edge culture that both DKNY and Frank151 share.
The chapter is an exploration of New York City through a creative collective of individuals from both cultural brands. The book was released worldwide on September 7, 2014, in conjunction with DKNY's spring/summer 2015 runway show during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.
