Big accolade for Audos; STECHFORD.

BIRMINGHAM event management firm Audos has received an accolade usually reserved for employees from one of the UK's leading recruitment consultancies.

Travail Employment Group thought the Stechford-based company was so loyal that it decided to honour chairman Andy Hawkins with a ten-year service award.

This is the first long service award made by the Gloucester-based company to a supplier in its 30-year history.

Audos, which sources venues, manages lighting and sound and hires entertainment for events ranging from trading days and sales conferences to product launches and gala dinners has helped Travail grow from a small local egency to a pounds 30 million business with 40 branches nationwide.

Audos has just masterminded Travail's first overnight convention - a glittering gala for 120 at the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. Its thrilling theme of a night with the stars followed an Oscar night that it handled last year.
