Big Macc in Pole position.
The 24-year-old Swansea man clinically dismantled Bugaj, an experienced campaigner but who had been halted in two by Maccarinelli's sparmate, Pembroke Dock puncher Scott Gammer.
A right to the side of the head sent Bugaj sprawling and, as the Welshman followed up with a two-fisted barrage, a left to the body had the Pole wincing in pain. As he took more punishment, referee Mickey Vann stepped in to save him.
Heavyweight Darren Morgan, who trains alongside Maccarinelli, halted Blackpool's experienced Dave Clarke in the first round, but only after taking a left which nicked him alongside the left eye.
Clarke was sagging helplessly on the ropes in his own corner when ref Keith Garner decided he had seen enough.
