Big Brother pressure mounts.

Big Brother housemate Ray was in tears yesterday as the pressure of choosing who should be up for eviction became too much.

The Irishman had an early hours sob as he went to bed drained from his new role as head of the house, which means he is responsible for nominations.

And he lost his temper with the cameras which monitor his movements 24 hours a day for the Channel 4 show, making a rude gesture and telling them: "P*** off and leave me alone."

He was wiping his eyes and breathing deeply as he splashed water on his face in the bathroom.

Then as he sobbed in his bed, he blasted the constant surveillance, saying: "Go away, go away, go away. Enough, it's doing me head in."

And as his pal Scott popped in to see what the problem was, Ray said he was upset that he would be responsible for the nominations.

His role as house chief meant Ray was forced to get up to hand out chores by show bosses. He will also be responsible for the food budget with a solo challenge tomorrow.
