Global Banking News - 26 February 2014

Bidders for the IBRC mortgage book have promised to abide by the code of conduct rules set up by the central bank, if they are successful.

The successful bidder would be required to service the mortgages in accordance with the Central bank's Code of conduct on Mortgage Arrears.

The liquidating firm, KPMG, has expressed satisfaction over the fact that bidders voluntarily indicated their willingness to follow the code of conduct as prescribed by the CCMA.
