Bid to find the owner of mystery locket.

A PHOTOGRAPH of a locket that was found in Whitwick has been shared hundreds of times on social media but the owner still hasn't been found.

Daren Johnson told the Echo that his wife Joanne - who works in the Co-op store on Meadow Lane - found the locket on the floor in the store whilst she was working.

He said that they were afraid that it was of huge sentimental value for the person who lost it.

He said: "We were worried that because although it might not be actually worth a lot of money, that the photo is someone's grandmother, mother, sister or any relative and it might mean a lot to them."

The couple have also put up posters in the store to try and find it's owner.

Daren said that despite his Facebook post being shared hundreds of times, they still hadn't found the owner and that if anyone recognises the photograph then to call into the Meadow Lane store.

Pictured is the locket that Daren's wife Joanne found whilst she was at work.
