Bid of terrorism foiled in City.

PESHAWAR -- The Bomb Disposal Squad foiled a bid of terrorism by defusing a low intensity bomb on busy Pando road here Thursday.

Police said that three and a half kilogram bomb was planted in water-cooler placed in a taxi parked at Pandu Chowk. The bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot after receiving information and defused the bomb.

A mobile phone, SIM and other goods were also recovered.

This year, the BDS has defused about 350 bombs in the province by saving precious human lives.
