E-commerce services provider (Nasdaq:BYND) today announced year-long renewals of large enterprise software contracts for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) and the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA). The NIMA renewal is for the third year of a four-year, $8.3 million contract to electronically distribute software upgrades and updates throughout the agency. The BEP exercised its option for the second year of the five-year, $1.7 million agreement with and PlanetGov, formerly Intellisys Technology Corporation of Fairfax, Va.

The contracts allow for the electronic delivery and maintenance of software to more than 7,000 desktop clients and numerous servers within NIMA and the BEP. The BEP contract covers licenses for Microsoft's Windows NT Server, Windows NT Workstation, Office Professional, Project Exchange Server 5.5 and other BackOffice software, along with additional products for Bureau of Engraving employees.

The NIMA contract covers the Microsoft products, as well as a variety of software titles such as MapInfo, JetForm, WinZip and others. NIMA was's first government enterprise agreement, signing an initial contract for software delivery in 1996.
