Besides the Bills, Buffalo Lager goes to the Super Bowl

The Bills weren't the only popular Buffalo export sports fans found in Minneapolis during Super Bowl week. To celebrate the football team's return to "The Show," many bars in Minneapolis served Buffalo Lager, the premium beer produced by the Buffalo Brewing Co.

"Minneapolis is really the stage where the spotlight will be on Buffalo," reported Kevin Townsell, owner of the microbrewery. "This is a perfect opportunity to showcase all the great things we have to share here in Buffalo.

"In many ways, Buffalo Lager's a lot like Buffalo: it's not what you think. Besides, it's perfect beer for Bills fans to drink while watching Buffalo hunt the Redskins for a change."

In addition to distributing Buffalo Lager to Minneapolis bars, Buffalo Brewing Co. joined with Oldies 104, WHTT-FM in Buffalo, to host a Bills pre-victory celebration in Minneapolis the night before the Super Bowl.
