Bertha Terry.

STERLING - Bertha L. (Cowan) Terry, 86, formerly of Sholan Terrace, Sterling, died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 22, in Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston.

She leaves three daughters, Betty A. Chapman and her husband, Richard, of Oakdale, Janet L. Graves and her husband, Barry, of Leominster and Helen Salls of Claremont, N.H.; two sons, David C. Belville of Sterling and Delbert Richardson of Greensboro Bend, Vt.; a sister, Anita Welsh of Claremont, N.H.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.

A son, Dennis Belville, two sisters, Rosalee McLain and Pauline Davis, and a brother, Clifford Cowan, all predeceased her.

She was born in Morrisville, Vt., the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Macombe) Cowan, and lived over 40 years in Sterling. Mrs. Terry worked at Sterling Manufacturing for over 10 years.

A graveside service was held Saturday, Nov. 27, at High Plain Cemetery, West Boylston. Memorial donations may be made to the Sterling Fire Department, Ambulance Fund, P.O.
