NNA - House Speaker Nabih Berri delivered a statement, in his capacity as leader of the Amal Movement, whereby he responded to the recent media campaigns which he deemed politically-oriented, by assuring that "the Amal Movement does not believe in succession or nepotism, and it never will." "I want everyone, from inside and outside the movement, to know that these campaigns are groundless, and that the Amal movement which confronted and defeated feudalism in the South (...) has never believed in the concept of nepotism, neither for a son, nor for a daughter or a relative, whomever" he assured. ============D.K.
