Former Fed chair, Ben Bernanke, said that Bank of Japan still has scope for more monetary easing measures.

Bernanke rejected the notion that the Bank of Japan had exhausted all of its options. He had met the Japanese PM to discuss financial issues.

Bernanke noted that Japan's central bank still has a range of monetary easing measures at its disposal.
