10 March 2016 - US-based roll off trailer company BenLee has acquired the assets of US-based roll-off trailer maker Huge Haul in an all cash transaction, the company said.
Huge Haul manufactures roll offs and load luggers to meet specific needs.
The company's lugger trucks were designed by Brooks Equipment in the 1930's and became part of the Ingersoll division of BorgWarner until 1960 when Heil purchased the Load Lugger division. In 1991, Huge Haul purchased the division from Heil.
BenLee has a major manufacturing operation as well as a parts operation where they have a line of parts for its own and competitors' units, including hydraulic cylinders, sheaves (cable pulley), pins, cables, rollers, valves, Chelsea and Muncie PTOs, winches-Tulsa, Timbren, etc.
The company also has a service operation where they do simple service and repair projects, as well as complete ground up rebuilds of preowned units for customers and resale.
Since the company's inception in 1967, BenLee has shipped to 48 states, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and Cayman Islands.
