Ben Jaafar meets with dialogue sponsoring quartet.

BARDO (TAP) - The amendments brought to the internal rules of the constituent assembly, subject of dispute between deputies, were the focus of a meeting held on Wednesday evening by assembly speaker Mustapha Ben Jfar and the quartet sponsoring national dialogue.

Tunisia's Labour Union (UGTT) Deputy Secretary General Mouldi Jendoubi said the meeting had also turned on the judgment of the administrative court canceling the decisions of the committee entrusted with selecting candidacies for the independent election body ISIE.

The meeting which he described as "very fruitful" took place ahead of a meeting later in the evening between the quartet and the salvation front parties and allowed to agree on revising the amendments subject of dispute.
