Bemis expands to clear the air.
Its Waterwick Whole-House Humidifiers keep fresh air in the home during cold, windy and dry weather to help prevent parched throats and dry and itchy skin. The humidifier also reduces static electricity.
One model is an evaporative whole-house humidifier with two speeds for air flow and a humidistat that automatically turns the unit on and off to maintain proper humidity levels. Its evaporative wick retains the minerals that help provide clean, moist air. The unit has a 10-gallon maximum output and can humidify 2,500 square feet of space.
The second Waterwick model has a 12-gallon output, a variable-speed air flow and a humidistat to moisturize 3,000 square feet of space.
Bemis' credenza humidifiers resemble furniture. The credenza models have an 11-gallon output every 24 hours and are styled in a light oak finish. There are two models, which can humidify up to 2,750 square feet of space. Both have easy-roll casters, and one model also has a variable-speed air filter.
The firm is expanding its assortment of tabletop and small humidifiers. The Waterwick 9166 features a lift-off top with a 1-gallon reservoir and weighs less than 4 pounds. The 7000 series tabletop units weigh less than 10 pounds. One unit has a two-stage air cleaner and a high-absorbency wick. Another unit has a three-speed humidity control with a quiet setting for nighttime and an operating light. It also features a removable water caddy. The last model can run for up to 28 hours and has a two-speed fan control.
Bemis entered the air cleaner market this year and offers two models, a tabletop model and a triangular floor model. The triangular model is an HEPA air purifier with an electrostatic and carbon prefilter. Its HEPA filter is pleated to cover a larger surface area.
The tabletop model features a high-efficiency electrostatic filter with a carbon prefilter. It is specifically designed to remove pollen and dust from the air.
Both Bemis air purifiers are designed to have the clean air exit at the top of the unit for more efficient cleaning. Both models have been certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers Clean Air Delivery Rate system.
