Belgian buildings authority in Flanders seeks adviser for prison construction in Antwerp.

(SeeNews) - Jun 27, 2014 -A Belgian buildings authority in the Flemish region has launched a negotiated tender for legal, financial and technical advisory services in connection with the construction of a new prison in Antwerp.

The authority wants to organise the design, construction, financing and maintenance of the prison as well as a number of facility services via a public-private partnership. The current tender is for the appointment of a consultant to assist with a multidisciplinary team in the organisation, execution and settlement of the contract.

The contract period is from March 2015 to the end of 2018.

The envisaged number of operators who will be invited to tender is three.

The authority will accept bids or participation requests by 1100 local time on August 18, 2014. The bids must be written in Dutch, according to the contract notice under document number 213927-2014 published on Thursday in the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).
