Beginner fun day fans of minicars.

BEDWORTH'S Radio-Controlled Car Club is holding a beginners' fun day to round off the year.

The event will be held on Sunday at its circuit at Bedworth Rugby Club.

The club has been operating for more than 15 years and has been at its present location for nearly 10 years.

It has a permanent tarmac circuit which includes a 25-metre straight, a chicane, hairpin and sweeper bends.

Spokesman Adrian Wright said: "We run 1/10th-scale electric-powered cars which have a top speed of up to 50mph. There are 60 members in the club and we always welcome new members, whatever their ability."
