Beeb rapped over Queen sex life jokes.

BBC bosses have slammed a Radio 4 comedy show for cracking jokes about the Queen's sex life on her 90th birthday.

The quips on panel game Don't Make Me Laugh, hosted by David Baddiel, included: "The Queen must have had sex at least four times."

The BBC Trust condemned the "personal, intrusive and derogatory comments" and added: "The offence felt was compounded by the date of transmission."

The BBC apologised after complaints from listeners and said they never meant the programme to go out on the Queen's birthday.

Bosses informed the Palace of the apology and moved the rest of the series to an 11pm slot.
