Bee aware.

Statistics show there is still a steady increase in the number of beekeepers in Wales and if you have thought about it too, Gwent Beekeepers' Association will be running two bee-keeping taster sessions on August 18 and September 16.

It is a great opportunity to see whether or not bee-keeping is for you without making a big financial or time commitment. The days are held at GBKA's new apiary in Llanover.

If you are interested in joining a GBKA bee-keeping beginners' course later in the year, you will need to attend a taster day first.
