Bedding protection.

A new range of fabrics for the bedding protection market has been launched by Don & Low Nonwovens, a Scottish producer of spunbonded polypropylene nonwovens. Developed as an alternative to PVC, the RM4 and RP4 are ideal barrier fabrics for mattress protectors, draw sheets and mattress covers. The materials combine excellent drape and low noise to provide a liquid proof protective sheet. The products can be washed, are steam sterilizable and fire retardant and have a high tear strength.

The new line also includes CN4, a 100% polyethylene breathable fabric specially designed for adult pillows and duvet covers.
