Beauty and the drugs beast.

CLIFTON ROCHESTER COCAINE MASTERMIND A BRAZEN drug lord used a former beauty pageant contestant and the names of famous footballers to smuggle drugs into the UK and launder money.

Clifton Rochester built up an PS18million cocaine empire by getting people to smuggle the drug from Jamaica into Bristol, where it was sold on the streets.

One of his smugglers was a former Miss Jamaica contestant Marsha Paragonsingh who wore a body-stocking to hide the drugs as she made her way through customs.

She used her position as an air hostess who to make it easier to get drugs into Rochester's cocaine empire was worth PS18m the country. Rochester, of Stanmore in northwest London, laundered his millions by setting up bank accounts in Jamaica using the names of UK celebrities such as Ian Wright, Andy Cole and Samantha Fox.

He was arrested in 2003 as he watched a match at Leicester City's home ground.

He was jailed in 2005 for 14 years after admitting conspiracy to import and supply cocaine, deception and money-laundering offences.

Six other members of his gang - including his wife and nephew - were jailed for between three-and-a-half and seven years for various drugs and money-laundering offences.
