Beats and Bytes holds dance & music concert.

The celebrated Filipino dance group in Qatar Beats and Bytes Dancers hosted a dance and Music concert featuring top Filipino dance gurus at City Centre Rotana Doha recently. The event titled "Dekada" highlighted the group's celebration of its 10th anniversary and served as the culminating activity of the participants of the Emerge Workshop, a non-formal education programme of Beats and Bytes which attracted dance enthusiasts from all age groups. Special guests from the Philippines Kenjohns Serrano, formerly a member of the Philippine All Stars Dance Crew and currently a singer, dancer and choreographer of Rockstars Philippines, and DJ Rhemuel Luni of Rock*Well Dance Crew of the Philippines, joined in the celebration. Their presence added glitz and glamour to the event supported by various community members. The dance concert and recital also featured local talent including Tripod band, Xtreme Level Danz Crew, Moving Colours and DJ Claud. A video presentation was also shown celebrating the milestone of the dance group through the years. Sponsors and partners of the event were Music & Arts Atelier, Philippine Airlines, Fitness First City Centre Doha, MEZZA Filipino Restaurants, Hillside Restaurants, Forever Living Qatar, Apex Events, Desi Dhaba, Megaworld International-MEA1, Al Farazdaq, Balitang Q, Filipino Film Makers Doha, Doha City Events, Honeylyn Alabado and Qatar Tribune as Media Partner. Beats and Bytes Dancers is a volunteering non-profit community group that specialises in modern as well as dance forms. It was founded by Eduardo"Amie" Jaca and Rocky Lumicao, a prominent Filipino community leader in Qatar. Beats and Bytes has performed at various local events and has been honoured in various competitions including the Best Dance Crew in Qatar title.
