Beat mail.

I have been living in central Florida for the past six years, since my husband's retirement. There are many retired former South-Bronxites here with a craving for the old Latin sounds, but we would settle for good new Latin sounds. My girlfriend and her husband called the other day announcing that Joe Cuba , Larry Harlow and Johnny Pacheco were to be playing at the Orlando Civic Center on August 31. She heard this on the radio with a number to call for reservations. Well, needless to say, I quickly called and made reservations charging it to my Visa. Well, I just received a call from the promoter saying he had to cancel due to poor sales and he would send out a check at the end of the month (keepin' my fingers crossed).

My friend and I got to talking, we sort of wished there was a link on line somewhere where we could find out about future dances with the old good bands or/ new good bands. We would be willing to fly where it might be, say for a weekend, as long as we could know ahead of time. Do you have any ideas? It is too un-Latin in central Florida. Would appreciate your help. Gracias.

Could you mention my Michael Stuart Fan Club in your magazine? I have started this myself with my own money and I'm really hoping it will be a success. I believe that Michael Stuart is an amazingly talented singer and will be a legend one day. I've been waiting for somebody to create a club like this for him for a long time so finally I got tired of waiting and decided to do it myself. Following is my fan club website and the address of the club.
