Bears hope a rest will change them for the good; RUGBY LEAGUE.
COVENTRY Bears are back in action tomorrow looking to make amends for their record defeat to Gloucestershire All Gold last time out.
The Bears were thrashed 66-6 at Cheltenham but have enjoyed a week off and head coach Tom Tsang expects his squad to come back refreshed to kick on for the rest of the season.
"We're hoping to rebound from our last outing and improve a lot of our processes and our own performance," he said. "I think it's about improving some basic stuff, which is I think what let us down at Gloucester. Hopefully we can sort ourselves out and get into the game."
"Barrow look pretty strong, they've had some good results, notably at Rochdale earlier in the season. They look to be up there with the top teams in the division so it's going to be another tough one," Barrow were one of the pre-season favourites in the Kingstone Press League 1 but they are already four points behind league leaders Oldham following three defeats in their first seven matches Coach Paul Crarey said:"Going to Coventry we've just got to look after ourselves and get focused again. We won't read too much into them getting beat at Gloucester because we've all had some bad results this year and bounced back.
"We need another win on the road, the squad's settling down and we're knocking out good completion rates and becoming a tidier football side. There's little things we didn't do at London that we want to do at Coventry. We're looking for improvement every week."
Tickets for tomorrow's match at the Butts Park Arena are priced at: adults PS10, concessions PS8 and children 16 and under PS2. Kick-off is at 3pm.
