Be the FIRST to ride Robocoaster.

HERE'S your chance to be the first person in the UK to ride the latest white-knuckle thriller Robocoaster -made famous in a James Bond blockbuster.

StarCity have teamed up with the Sunday Mercury to offer a lucky reader and friend the opportunity to experience the ride before anyone else. And 20 lucky runners up have the chance to ride it next.

Never seen before in the UK, Robocoaster, the world's first passenger carrying robot, will be making its debut at the StarCity Spring Holiday Eggtravaganza from April 10 --18.

And you could have the chance to experience the ride on April 6 before it is officially opened to the public.

The 22-foot-long mechanical robotic arm has six axes, and throws riders in any number of directions, turning them upside down, spinning them side to side, or making them swoop as if they were in a jet fighter. It has featured in James Bond movie blockbuster Die Another Day.

To be in with a chance of winning this ride of a lifetime, just answer the following question: Which James Bond film did Robocoaster appear in?

a. The Man with the Golden Gun b. Die Another Day c. A View to a Kill All entries must be received by Monday April 5 2004 before 12 noon and entrants must be available to ride on Tuesday April 6 from 1pm. You have to be over 1.4 metres tall to ride (4ft 6in). To enter you have various easy options.

BY PHONE: Call the competition Hotline on0901380 2822 and leave your name, address, daytime phone number and your answer. Calls cost no more than 25p from landlines. Mobile phone costs may vary.

BY TEXT: Text your answer to 86633. Write SM7 at the beginning of your text, followed by a space, your answer and your name, house number and postcode. Texts cost 25p (plus your standard message rate).

BY E-MAIL: You can e-mail the answer to the question, along with your name and address, to entry@mrn.co.uk stating'StarCity' in the subject box. If you would like to receive information from the Birmingham Post & Mail in the future, please add the word YES to your e-mail or text entry. Usual Sunday Mercury rules apply.

HTO celebrate the launch of this unique attraction StarCity is hosting an 8-day fun-filled programme of free entertainment and giving visitors the opportunity to win a brand new Toyota Yaris car.

Each day between 2-7pm, a variety of entertainers will be amusing visitors with everything from live music and magic to comedy and acrobatics, face painting and much more.

A team of skilled artists will be on hand each day in the free Easter egg and bonnet making children's workshops and there's a spring fair including dodgems, fun houses, inflatable slides and merry-go-rounds.
