Be part of Derren's freaky illusion.

A MIDDLESBROUGH dessert diner has launched a brand new freakshake - but all is not what it seems.

Creams on Linthorpe Road has created the monster shake with the help of famous illusionist Derren Brown.

The bright green freakshake is designed so that the customer is thrown off regarding the flavour.

People believe because of the colour it is mint or apple, but when they tuck in it is a completely different - and surprising - flavour.

But you'll have to buy one to find out - it is a tight-lipped secret to ensure the element of surprise.

The green "monstrosity" is priced at PS6.95 and is available until June 4. It comes topped with an Oreo, a wafer cone and vanilla soft serve ice cream drizzled in chocolate and kiwi sauce.

A spokesman for Creams said: "It's a product the whole family can enjoy.

"It's definitely large enough to share between two people and it's good fun trying to guess the mystery flavour.

"It's the quickest way to take part in a Derren Brown illusion and the size, colours and flavours will blow your mind just like the illusionist does."

Creams, on the junction of Southfield Road, opened up in May last year. As well as freakshakes, it serves ice creams, sundaes, milkshakes, waffles, cakes and crepes.
