Be a Blue!

Auditions to join the ranks of the bluecoat entertainers are coming to Tyneside.

Holiday operator Pontin's is looking for up to 200 talented entertainers to work as bluecoats on its eight centres during next year's season.

The prime requirement is a friendly and outgoing personality, plus basic skills in singing, dancing or stagecraft.

Pontin's has arrangements with Equity so Bluecoats who complete their training and season can be recommended for their Equity card. Auditions for 18 to 35s are at St James' Park, Newcastle, on November 7, from 11.30am to 3pm. Applicants call 01253 347 374.
