Battling Bangor can't take win; rugby ROUND-UP.

DIVISION THREE NORTH - BANGOR 7 RHOS 27: Although Rhos deserved their win, with a little luck Bangor might have produced a closer result.

Rhos opened the scoring through a Dafydd Rowlands try after Bangor were caught offside and then failed to retreat quick enough after a quick tap penalty.

The visitors' second try came from spinning the ball out to left wing Mathew Harrison, while their last try of the first half came from Simon Hughes with Gareth Ireland converting.

Bangor dominated after the break, but it was the visitors who took their chance with Harrison claiming his second try.

Bangor's doggedness was rewarded by a try from Liam Owen who picked up a loose ball and sped down the centre of the field to score a try that he converted.

Bangor upped their game after their score, but it was the visitors who crossed for the final points of the contest as Rowlands added his second try of the game in the final seconds.
