Battery-powered recorder.

Micro Technology Services, Inc., of Richardson, Texas, has introduced a portable, rugged video recorder that operates on a battery. The SR 71R express settings were developed for error-free setup and can be pre-programmed. To save bakery life, the unit can be programmed to operate only when activity is detected. A camera or video receiver can be attached to the video input and switched power output. Onscreen time, date, tape counter, and trigger number facilitate review of the video. The external 3-amp resettable circuit breaker protects the unit from incorrect connection and power spikes. It is also available as a portable video system. 923
