Batley Bulldogs' winning cheerleading squad.

The Batley Bulldogs' cheerleading squad have won a contest - for the second year in a row.

The rugby league-supporting girls won the event at the Red House museum in Gomersal.

Eight squads took part, including a team from Huddersfield New College

The Batley team comprises the Bullpups, aged six to 16, and the older Bulldog squad.

Team captain Emma Coombs, 22, led the girls in a 20-minute slot, performing chants and gymnastics.
