Bateman & Webb.

On March 10, 201Z family and friends gathered for the marriage celebration of Brittany MaeAnn Bateman and Dean Justin Webb II at Monmouth Plantation in Natchez.

The ceremony, which took place at two o'clock in the afternoon, was held under a wisteria-covered arbor. Officiate was Dr. Jeffrey Doremus, uncle of the bride. Music was provided by David Troutman, violinist, and vocalists Holly Bateman Crane, sister of the bride, and Katie Doremus Bowman and Kelly Doremus, cousins of the bride. A poem was read by Cheryl Ashby Bateman, aunt of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Kyle and Made Bateman of Brookhaven. She is the granddaughter of Marion Van and Janie Cooley of Brookhaven and Col. (Ret.) Scott and Shirley Bateman of Seminary. The groom is the son of Dean and Kristie Webb of Tupelo. He is the grandson of Evelyn Willis and the late Billy Joe Willis, the late Lee Webb, and Verna Cayson and the late Robert Cayson, all of Tupelo.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory charmeuse gown with cap sleeves, lace bodice, keyhole back, and sweep train. Her headpiece was an ivory birdcage with a small bow, feathers, and jewels. The bride's shoes were royal blue pumps. She carried a bouquet of all-white calla lilies and roses. Tucked inside her bouquet was a French baby bonnet/handkerchief that had been hand-sewn by her maternal grandmother, Janie Cooley, and given to her at birth. The bride's jewelry consisted of diamond earrings and a diamond necklace belonging to her maternal grandmother.

Holly Bateman Crane and Megan Bateman Case served their sister as maid and matron of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Savannah Webb, sister of the groom, and Emili Wansley, cousin of the bride. Attendants wore black dresses and each carried a single white calla lily. Honorary bridesmaids were Brianna Ashmore, Jordan Beeson, Mallory Mills, Laura Rowles, and Emery Jenkins. They wore ivory dresses and each canied a single red rose.

Alli Case, niece of the bride, Ashby Robinson, and Maeleigh Bowman, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls. Each wore a miniature bride's gown. Ashby and Maeleigh carried a basket of rose petals. Thomas Robinson, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. He wore a Jon-Jon suit and carried a white satin pillow. Lacey Orr served as the bride's proxy.

Dean Webb, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Scotty Bateman, brother of the bride, Chad Willis, uncle of the groom, and Brayden Whitman. Ushers included Landon Case, brother-in-law of the bride, and Andrew Cooley, cousin of the bride.

Ian and Aaron Willis, cousins of the groom, served as program attendants.

Immediately following the ceremony, guests walked to the Garden Room of Monmouth for a reception hosted by the bride's parents. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet and dancing. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Garden Room of Monmouth.

Following a honeymoon to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the couple is at home in Brookhaven.
