Batelco honoured for support to Municipality.

Batelco, Bahrain's leading telecom company and one of the kingdom's leading philanthropic firms, has been recognised for its participation and support of initiatives carried out by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning.

The Municipality Awards Ceremony took place under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, at Prince Khalifa Park in Hidd on May 13.

Batelco Group general manager human resources and development Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa was presented with the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Award for Municipality Work in 2011/2012 by Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Minister Dr Jum bin Ahmed Al Kbi.

Shaikh Ahmed said that Batelco, as the Kingdom's leading communications provider and a passionate supporter of community initiatives, was delighted to be recognised for its support of work carried out by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning.
