Barwa Bank wins three Awards at the Islamic Business and Finance Awards 2012.

Barwa Bank, Qatar's fastest growing Shari'ah compliant bank, has been named winner of the Islamic Business and Finance Awards for "Best Bank", "Best Branding" and "Best Domestic Corporate Bank in the Region".

Attending the event on behalf of Barwa Bank was Steve Troop, CEO, Diane Alphonse, Head of Marketing, Hussain Al Abdullah, Head of Retail and Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Thani from Corporate Banking.

Troop commented, "Receiving "Best Bank" - not simply nationally or regionally but on the international stage - is a very significant achievement and one that all of the team at Barwa Bank are especially proud of: we feel that we are contributing to the growth and perception of Islamic Banking, not just regionally, but internationally as well."

Ms Alphonse spoke about winning "Best Branding", "Our brand aims at communicating with customers in a new and fresh way, which represents the innovative approach that we are adopting towards our customers and to Shari'ah compliant banking. I am delighted to see that this was appreciated by both customers and our industry peers."
