Barrie nets first win for boss Shiels.

Livingston ............0 Morton ..................1 Morton bagged a first win under Kenny Shiels despite playing for 60 minutes without keeper Nico Caraux who was concussed after a clash with Mark Burchill.

On-loan Barrie McKay grabbed the deserved winner on the stroke of half-time, firing home after being set up by Garry O'Connor and Ton assistant boss David Hopkin said: "This win has been coming for a couple of months.

"It was a great goal by Barrie and it wa s good timing, coming just before the break.

"Nico is concussed, it didn't look anything serious but we didn't want to take a risk."

Livi chief John McGlynn said: "We had our chances but didn't capitalise on them."
