Datanomic, considered to be a know-your-customer and anti-money laundering specialist, has announced that Barclays Expobank (LSE: BARC) in Russia has implemented its dn:Director Sanctions & PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) Screening software.

The software was implemented as part of the bank's front-line anti-money laundering compliance operations. About one million customer records are to be screened by the software daily in both Cyrillic and English. They are to be compared against international sanctions lists.

Barclays Expobank has 32 branches in Russia.
