Barbato elected Triangle Coalition president.
ITEEA is pleased to announce the election of ITEEA Executive Director/CEO Steven A. Barbato, DTE as President of the Board of Directors of the Triangle Coalition. Other newly elected Executive Committee members include Elizabeth Parry of the American Society of Engineering Education and Marc Apter of IEEE-USA.
The Triangle Coalition advocates for the improvement of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in the United States. Headquartered in the DC metro area, the Triangle Coalition is comprised of member organizations that represent business, education, and STEM societies nationwide. Triangle Coalition unifies the voices of these stakeholders through actions in three major areas: communication, advocacy, and programmatic efforts to advance STEM education for all students.
