Bapco league winners honoured.

THE final awarding ceremony of this year's Bapco Inter-departmental Bowling League was held at the Bapco Club in awali.

The event took place under the patronage of the Bapco chairman and chief executive Adel Khalil Al Moayyed, in the presence of Chevron Bahrain general manager Majeed Shafea, Bapco CDO Ibrahim Taleb, Banagas special project and public relations manager Ahmed Al Kabi, BSTS general manager Paul Guinnane, Tatweer production general manager Mohammed Al Qassab, and other managers and guests.

League chairman Farooq Mohammed Saleh welcomed all those in attendance to the awards night.

Al Moayyed then first awarded the league shield Production Team captain Mohammed Al Murbati.

Also taking home prizes as part of the team were Felix, Abdulla Abdulkarim, Abdulhamid Muraqi, Tahani Hussain, Hassan Ahmed Qaid, Gelenda, Abdullatif Mohammed, Anjela Hernandiz, Suad Al Wazeer, Narweena, Hassan Kamal Hubaish, Nazeeha Ahmed, Mohammed Al Jahrami and Dalal Mohammed Al Jamea.

Al Moayyed also awarded the league runners-up Retirees Team, third-placers ITD Team, and fourth-placers Refining Team.

Taleb then awarded the Bapco Knockout Cup to Projects team captain Hassan Hubbashi. He also awarded the other top four teams from the competition.

Al Kabi followed and presented the prizes for the Banagas Doubles Tournament, which included winners Abdulla Abdulkarim and Abdullatif Mohammed.

Later, Shafea presented the Masters Tournament prizes to the top 12 finalists in the scratch competition, including champion Mohammed Janahi. There was also a Masters Tournament top 12 with handicap category, and the winner was Tawfeeq Al Bana.

Al Qassab then awarded Mohammed Al Murbati, Ahmed Janahi and Hassan Al Shair their prizes for being the winners of the Trios Tournament.

Finally, Guinnane gave away the prizes to the top 30 finishers from the Open Tournament.
