Banned groom marries victim; roundUP.

A MAN who was banned from contacting his partner has breached the restraining order - by marrying her.

Groom Jeremy Houlston, 42, tied the knot with Diane Young, 48, on December 17, despite being ordered not to see her following an assault.

Houlston appeared before magistrates in Llandudno this weekend, accused of breaching the order. He was remanded on bail until January 9 - but ordered to live in Brighton Road, Rhyl, around the corner from his wife in Elwy Street, and not to contact her.

The restraining order had been imposed in September in a case of common assault on Diane Young and criminal damage.
