Bank holidays for Eid Al Adha announced.

MUSCAT: Banks will remain closed from November 15 to 18 on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) announced yesterday.

The banks will reopen for business on November 21.

The Central Bank will remain closed on November 15, but other banks are permitted, if necessity arises, to open some of their branches for providing services to the public on November 15 and compensate their staff accordingly, a press release issued by the CBO said.

The CBO and other banks expressed greetings and best wishes to all members of the banking community on this occasion.
