Bank helps Westchester medicine.

Continuing its commitment to quality health care in the region, Union State Bank, through its U.S.B. Foundation, Inc., has donated $25.000 to Sound Shore Medical Center in support of its 13th Annual Golf Tournament and Reception held on June 7th at Winged Foot and Quaker Ridge Goff Clubs.

All net proceeds from the golf outing will support the department of emergency medicine at Sound Shore Medical Center. This is the seventh year that the bank has sponsored this event.

"We are once again very pleased to continue our support of Sound Shore Medical Center as the presenting sponsor of the annual golf outing. It is especially gratifying that our donation will help support the outstanding service provided each day by the emergency department," said Ray Crotty, senior executive vice president and chief credit officer of Union State Bank.

"As always, we greatly appreciate Union State Bank's generous financial support. Their donation enables us to reduce expenses associated with the golf outing and to maximize the revenues that will help fund the critically important work of our emergency department," said John R. Spicer, president and chief executive officer of Sound Shore Medical Center.

Each year, the golf outing helps raise about $20,000.

Sound Shore Medical center has served the communities of southern Westchester for over a century.
