Bank Sohar opens new branch in Al Khuwair.

MUSCAT: Bank Sohar's twenty-first branch, which is also the sixth in the capital region, opened for business on November 21. A stream of residents of the area walked into the new premises and Salim Khamis Al Maskry, AGM Branches, Fahad Al Zadjali, Branch Manager - Al Khuwair, welcomed the first visitors. They also offered a token of appreciation to the first customer who opened an account at the new branch.

During the second half of this year, Bank Sohar has reached out and extended all over the country. With one branch after another, the bank has widened the branch network - in Rustaq, Ibri, Bahla, Sinaw and last month a branch in Quriyat. One more branch in the capital region in the commercial hub of Al Khuwair adds substantially to the bank's outreach and potential.

"Bank Sohar is coming to Al Khuwair at an opportune moment for customers," said Al Masrky. "The Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2010 is just weeks away from the biggest event in the scheme's calendar - the draw for RO 440,000 - the single largest prize money in Oman this year and the special prize of RO 240,000 exclusively set aside for loyal customers of the bank. In addition to the savings schemes, there are two credit card promotions with attractive prizes - one for new card customers and the other for credit card usage." Al Maskry added that customers of Al Khuwair could avail of the opportunity to participate in every one of these prizes and promotions right away. "In addition to all of these prizes and promotions is what Bank Sohar will always offer their customers - the refreshing experience of banking with an Omani bank that provides a one stop financial super mall having boutiques of products and services".
