Bank Nizwa opens Al Khoud branch.

Muscat: Bank Nizwa, Oman's first Islamic bank, announced the opening of its new full-service branch in Al Khoud, located in a strategic area. The branch is fully equipped with state-of-the-art banking systems and software and well trained staff to provide a great customer banking experience, said a bank release. Oman is witnessing a demand for Islamic banking services and it is Bank Nizwa's mission to provide convenience for all its customers through a network of fully serviced branches. The new branch reflects Bank Nizwa's continued commitment in meeting the evolving needs of the growing communities across the Sultanate. "Al Khoud is one of the most developing areas in Muscat. We are excited about the opening of the branch and our aim is to expand our network to reach out to people in different areas. This will give us the opportunity to provide our banking services to people in a Sharia-compliant way," said Dr Jamil El Jaroudi, chief executive officer of Bank Nizwa.
