Bank Account Manager

This accounting software is a check reconciliation and check writer package designed for use with the Peachtree Complete III Accounting System. It can be run directly from the Peachtree Complete III main menu and directly interfaces with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll modules. Accountants and bookkeepers can reconcile checks with bank figures using the 10-key number pad on their computer keyboards without the tedious process of double-checking columns. The software automatically interrupts the process when an error between the numbers being entered and the numbers appearing in the files occurs. When a discrepancy between the numbers arises, the system immediately notifies the operation with a short "beep." There is also an option for users to scroll through files to view and compare each transaction with bank statements instead of the 10-key number pad method. Users are also given the choice between either bank-to-book reconciliation, or book-to-bank reconciliation. The software uses the Peachtree Complete III Accounts Receivable payments, along with check information in Payroll and Accounts Payable, to reconcile checkbooks and bank statements for up to 99 bank accounts per company. The package also makes it easy to enter manual checks and deposits, service charges, interest received and other adjustments, then transfer them to the General Ledger module in Peachtree Complete III. In addition, it also can easily write checks on demand. The Peachtree Complete III accounting system includes nine modules of accounting software -- General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Purchase Order, Payroll, Inventory, Job Cost and Fixed Assets. Features of the complete system include more than 450 standard reports, automatic file back-up, processing and consolidation of an unlimited number of companies; unlimited file sizes for customers, vendors, assets, employees and inventory items; comprehensive audit trails; cross-module account validation; support for up to four printers per computer; and the ability to route reports to a screen, disk or printer. Pop-up menus, shortcut keys and scrolling reference tables are among the system-wide features for users of different skill levels. Both Peachtree Complete III and Bank Account Manager are for use with IBM computers and compatibles. They require PC- or MS-DOS version 3.0 or higher, at least 640K of memory (RAM) and a hard disk.
