Bangers & smashed..

A PAIR of greedy burglars fried up 20 venison sausages and washed them down with FOUR bottles of Chianti, a court heard.

Kyle Sherrington and David Edwards, both 25, used the TV, computer and phone at the house they broke into - then sat down and got drunk, Llandudno magistrates heard.

Sherrington and Edwards of Colwyn Bay, North Wales, admitted burglary and were ordered to carry out 250 hours unpaid work - and pay pounds 286 compensation.

Craig Hutchinson, defending, said: "They are deeply sorry."
