Balochistan Highway projects carried out despite odds.

ISLAMABAD -- The National Assembly has been informed that due to lawlessness in Balochistan, it was impossible to work steadily over highways and motorways of the beleaguered Province.

During question hour in the Lower House on Monday, the Parliamentary secretary for communications Chaudhry Saeed Iqbal said government was making all possible efforts to complete these highways', roads', motorways' projects under all odds.

He also assured that no irregularity was done in tenders related to repairs, and constructions of highways, roads, and motorways, however the government was trying to rectify the 'sluggish system of payments' by ministry.

Meanwhile the three newly elected MNAs of PML-N who had succeeded in recent bye polls were administered oath by chairperson Yasmin Rehman, after which the newly elected parliamentarians signed the attendance register.
