Balochistan Elections: Nomination papers withdrawn.

QUETTA -- A number of covering and other candidates including nominated by political parties and independent candidates have withdrawn their nomination forms submitted for participating in general elections 2013.

Most of the candidates who have withdrawn their nomination forms were participating in elections as independent candidates and they also addressed press conference to express their support to the candidate, in favour of him they withdrew their papers.

Official sources told here on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan chief Sardar Sanaullah Zehri withdrew his nomination forms from PB-37 Kalat-Surab seat in favour of his brother Mir Naimatullah Zehri.

Now, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri will be contesting elections in NA-268 Kalat-Mastung and NA-269 Khuzdar and total 15 candidates will be participating in elections for PB-37 Kalat-Surab.

Seven candidates withdrew their nomination forms submitted for PB-38 Mastung and now 20 candidates will be contesting elections in this constituency.

Three independent candidates including Qalandar Khan Khilji, Abdul Malik Baraich and Maula Bakhsh Bariach have withdrawn their nomination papers from NA-260 Quetta-Chagai in favour of PPP candidates Sardar Omar Gorgaij.

In NA-271 Kharan-Washuk, Alama Habib Ahmed Naqshbandi of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan-Noorani, former district nazim Mir Mujibur Rehman Muhammad Hasni and Sardarzada Omair Muhammad Hasni have withdrew their nomination forms in favour of the Pakistan People's Party candidate Mir Ehsanullah Reiki.

Obaidullah Baloch withdrew his forms in favour of Balochistan National Party-Mengal candidate, Waja Jehanzeb Baloch and Mir Shaukat Baloch in favour of BNP-Awami candidate Muhammad Hanif Baloch in the same constituency.

In PB-46 Kharan, the candidates withdrew their nomination forms among them Haji Ghulam Hussain Baloch, Haji Samee Baloch, Hafiz Jamal Abdul Nasir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazriati in favour of BNP-M candidate Sana Baloch

In NA-268 Kalat-Mastung, six candidates withdrew their forms as well as six candidates from PB-36 Kalat.

The candidates in Kalat constituencies who have withdrawn their nomination papers include covering candidates of JUI-F Maulana Attaullah Langova and Maulana Abdul Baqi, covering candidate of BNP-M Manzoor Baloch, Mir Manzoor Hussain and independent candidates Prince Omar Jan Ahmedzai.

In PB-31 Kachhi-2, four candidates have withdrawn their nomination forms.

In PB-18 Molvi Aminullah of Jamaat-e-Islami withdrew his forms in favour of JUI-N candidate and Obaidullah Akhunzada, Abdullah Jan and Zarif Kakar in favour of Dr Abdul Razzaq.

In PB-32 Jhal Magsi, five candidates including Kohram Khan, Syed Walayat Hussain Shah, Nawabzada Ali Raza Magsi, Molvi Muhammad Isa and Jam Muhammad Tampani withdrew their nomination forms in favour of independent candidate Nawabzada Tariq Khan Magsi.

In PB-40 Noshki, Manzoor Mengal and Baboo Abdul Sattar withdrew their papers in favour of Baboo Muhammad Raheem Mengal while Sher Dil Mengal in favour of Abdul Qadir Mengal.

In PB-16 Loralai, Kalimullah Nasar has withdrawn his papers.

In PB-22 Harnai, Sangal Khan Tareen withdrew his nomination papers in favour of Malik Israr Tareen.
