Baloch calls for democratic forces' unity on Karachi re-polling.

LAHORE -- Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has counselled all the democratic forces protesting on bogus voting in Karachi to unite on one pint agenda of repelling elections in the port city.

Talking to senior leaders of different parties on telephone on Tuesday, he said that unity of the democratic and law abiding parties was essential to salvage Karachi and Hyderabad from the extortionists, target killers, and hooligans.

He contacted on telephone PTI central leader Arafi Alvi, PML(N) Secretary General, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, JUP leader Shah Avais Noorani, and JUI(F) Secretary Generla, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on this score.

Liaqat Baloch said that bogus election in Karachi and Hyderabad were a slap on the face of the care taker government and the Election Commission, ad stressed that instead of adopting delaying tactics, the ECP should take immediate measures for re-polling so that the elections all over the country were not rendered doubtful.

Liaqat Baloch said that the PTI had secured bigger mandate in the Khyber P. which should be accepted and the party be allowed to form its government.
