Balmoral Hall School.

In these times of educational and adolescent turmoil, Balmoral Hall School provides a secure, caring, educational environment for parents and students who value academic achievement and personal success.

Balmoral Hall, an independent girls' school established in 1901, is dedicated to the education of girls and young women from junior kindergarten (four years old) through grade 12.

The School offers a superb team of highly qualified teachers, small classes and state-of-the-art facilities, combined with strong parent-teacher-student communication and accountability. At Balmoral Hall teachers effectively teach and students successfully learn.

In this high quality educational environment girls stop being "the audience" and become "the players"; the curriculum is designed for them; and the classroom "voices" are theirs.

Research has shown that, in a single-sex girls' educational environment, graduates are much more likely to succeed in university and to reach professional and managerial positions. In girls' schools, girls are more academically-oriented, have significantly higher self-esteem, and have a more active orientation toward life, leadership and relationships. This is the positive and motivated peer group which a girl joins when she becomes a B.H. student.

Balmoral Hall has strong scholarship and financial help programs for qualified students and parents, with about one of every three students and parents receiving financial assistance.

Finally, Balmoral Hall and its teachers are in a unique position to help girls know themselves and believe in themselves as individuals and young women. Free of co-education's pressures, girls are free to lead, to question, to look at life in terms of the possibility of the maximum rather than the limitations of gender minimums.
