Ball Park Introduces New GrillMaster Franks for Grown-Up Hot Dog Lovers.

CINCINNATI, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- For those craving something bigger and meatier, Ball Park has developed new GrillMaster franks specifically for grilling and for grown up taste buds and appetites.

"We know that there are adults out there looking for more from their hot dog," said Deborah Sabo, director of marketing for Ball Park. "We assigned a team of real meat lovers to develop a bigger, better frank just for meat lovers. With the Ball Park GrillMaster frank, we maximized everything that's important in a hot dog-eating experience -- size, flavor and meatiness -- and developed the ultimate hot dog for grilling."

GrillMaster franks are made from the highest quality ingredients and are available in four great-tasting varieties -- beef, garlic, cajun style and smokey. Made specifically for the grill, GrillMaster franks have a bold flavor that is heightened when cooking over an open flame -- either gas or charcoal. The highest quality ingredients also give these hot dogs a hearty, satisfying taste and texture.

The GrillMaster is 40 percent larger than the average hot dog, meaning it fills up the bun and still has plenty of room for any condiments -- from "just mustard" to "the works." Ball Park GrillMaster franks are available in the meats section of the supermarket. The suggested retail price for a five-count package is $3.99.

To support the launch of GrillMaster franks, Ball Park recently introduced a new brand positioning and comprehensive marketing campaign surrounding Ball Park franks. The campaign, entitled "Be Frank," consists of television, radio, print, outdoor, promotional, in-store and interactive components and features a straight-talking, all-American hot dog enthusiast named "Frank," who tells it like it is. For "Frank" (Larry Joe Campbell), when it comes to grilling, there is no off-season. He believes in red meat, cold beer, spectator sports and good times with good friends.
