Balcor Management named at Midtown office building.

The New York division of Balcor Property Management (BPM) has been awarded the management contract for 205/215 Lexington Avenue, a 30-year old office building in midtown Manhattan

The two-building complex, located on the blockfront between East 32nd and East 33rd Streets, contains a total of 308,000 square feet of Class A office space and is 82 percent leased.

Tenants include the Greater New York Insurance Company, Massachusetts Mutual Insurance, Decision Centers, Inc. and the Private Satellite Network The building's leasing agent is the Edward S Gordon Company.

Overseeing day-to-day management functions for 205/215 Lexington Avenue is Roger Kahn, senior vice president of Balcor Property Management.

The Lexington Avenue building is BPM's second assignment in the New York City metropolitan area. In April, BPM was awarded the management contract for Crosswest Office Center, a 152,000- square-foot commercial building in White Plains, New York.

Both 205/215 Lexington Avenue and Crosswest Office Center are owned by The Balcor Company, of Skokie, Illinois.
